Maya Libri remains local-first: your library can work directly on your device without an account or Internet connection. Maya Cloud is an option you choose to enable to back up your library and restore it whenever you need it.

Maya Libri works fully offline and without an account. Maya Cloud is an optional feature for backing up your complete library and personal cover photos. Back up at any time with “Back up now”, or enable automatic backup: when enabled, a backup is triggered after changes to your library while the app remains open, with an additional attempt when the app moves to the background.

Restoring replaces the local library with the latest cloud backup after confirmation. On another device, sign in to the same account with your email and the code received by email to restore your latest backup. Maya Cloud remains optional and Maya Libri remains usable offline.
